New Music-Cd Reviews-Playlists-Music You Should Know-Featuring Music That Radio Doesn't Play

I sat with you on my bedroom floor, I couldn't move. I saw you like I never seen you before...&q

Carly Rae Jepsen is best known for her mega smash Call Me Maybe but this past year she has released an album full of pop perfection even better then Call Me Maybe.

2015 she released Emotion and this was album was everything it was supposed to be. Emotion followed her album Kiss which helped to put her on the map. The album did okay but couldn't match the success of her lead single Call Me maybe.

And now she has Emotion Side B and Carly says that this is the album that almost didn't happen. Listening to this album you would never guess these songs were Emotion Rejects. In fact these songs not only deserve to be on the album Emotion it feels like these 8 tracks really complete the already great album.

The first track of Emotion Side B is called The First Time.

The First Time is pure pop perfection, "when my heart breaks it always feels like the first time..." this song is all about coming out of heartbreak and allowing yourself to feel the way you did before.

Right away you will be hooked.

This song will have you dancing in your living room. Just so you've been warned!

Cry is my favorite song off the whole album. Starting out moody and starts out soft like shes telling a story, "your the king of castle whenever your here you know it feels right. Don't even worry. Don't even move. I've got your spotlight", and breaks out into the chorus "He never wants to strip down to his feelings he never wants to kiss and close his eyes ....he always makes me cry, I wake up without you"..."even with hello I hear goodbye." This song is gold and so well done. Its a shame there is no video for this song because it could have been a single. Carly also sounds her absolute best in this song. The beat, the lyrics all of it comes together to make a song that could have been the smash that Carly Needs.

Higher is actually the second track of the CD, and once again some more POP Perfection. "I was so cynical before I must confess....you pulled a gem out of a mess"

This track is a banger and once again will have you dancing away. Take a listen

The One has dark beats and is a swanky story about how she isn't looking for the one tonight perhaps just some fun, exclaiming, "its too much pressure...I don't wanna be the one." She once again is telling a story and I almost feel as if I can picture the whole night unraveling. This song brings together a story and puts into a song. Sounding a bit electronic yet simple at the same time. A must listen.

Fever is all about being hot for a boy who only wants to be friends with her. She isn't quite ready to accept this and this song is the plea for this boy to change his mind.

Body Language is as hot as you'd want it to be. "I'd been lonely baby, I been hanging on the line...Body Language would do the trick..." Just PRESS Play & Your welcome

Roses is a ballad and closes the album, "i can feel you reaching through the cracks. A simple change of seasons and your back...."

And this is the song where Carly actually shows the most emotion and pours her heart into a song that will leave you wanting more...Check it out. "I sat with you on my bedroom floor, and I could move. I saw you like I never seen you before..." Another really great song.

This song really goes along with the theme of losing a lover and saying Goodbye. She says shes just going to the store because she doesn't' want to say Goodbye. "I'm not that good at goodbyes...can't talk about it." Another Great one.
