Carly Rae Jepsen
I bought Carly's new album EMOTIONS the day it came out and I have fallen in love with it. Here are some of her music videos and songs from the album that I love.
I also got a chance to see her LIVE in Milwaukee Wisconsin and Meet Her After the show. She was amazing, sounded amazing, gave a performance I won't soon forget. She was as sweet as PIE. You can see videos/pictures on my personal blog (thecurtcollins.com) Click HERE
Her latest single is Your Type, and I love the song. Its all about love, used to being in love, and just realizing sometimes your not the one for that person. I love the lyrics, I love the song. Check It Out!!!
Her second single from the album was Run Away With Me.
This song should have been a huge hit.
It made me want to travel the world, and just really run away.
Check Out the Song Below!
This song was ROBBED of being a Smash Hit-
It just didn't recieve the radio support it needed and capped out at #18 on the Billboard Charts.
I absolutly love this song, and I love the fact that TOM HANKS is singing it in the video. Not to mention Carly's friend Justin Bieber also makes an apperance. Check It Out Below-the song that could have been her second number 1. I really like you -I really like the song!
This is another song that could be a hit, and should be a single. The title track from the album EMOTION. Check It OUT
Another song I love is ALL THAT which she performed on Saturday Night Live, and I bought it right after I saw her performance. This is a bit of a slow jam, but its so so good so Check this song out!
Here is another Album track that I found to be a song I love to listen too.
Gimmie Love
Boy Problems
This song seems like an anthem for young women-Maybe high school girls-Just a cheeky fun-LIGHT song.
Lets Get Lost
Here is another song much like Run Away with me, that i just want to go running in the rain, and just dance to this song with no one watching. Singing the lyrics as loud as I can!
Warm Blood
What a different song, but such a great one in the end. It will get stuck in your head and you might feel weird about singing some of lyrics (maybe its just me) Check It Out
And a true dance song-
I didn't just come here to dance
Overall a great album, seems like it really missed its chance and recieved very little support from Radio.
But I would rate it a 4 out of 5.
Some really great and I mean great songs, some that just don't connect and I skip. But overall a great offering, and worth a listen!
